Jika aku ingin memperdalam pengetahuan teoretis atau memperluas jaringan profesional, aku bisa mempertimbangkan untuk melanjutkan studi ke jenjang S2, baik di bidang Cybersecurity atau Cloud Security. Meskipun tahap ini sifatnya opsional, aku tahu banyak profesional yang memanfaatkan kesempatan ini untuk mendalami riset dan mendapatkan keahlian mendalam di topik-topik seperti threat modeling, cloud-native security, dan secure software development.
Setelah itu, aku akan memasuki tahap mid-level position, di mana aku mulai menentukan jalur spesialisasi. Di tahap ini, aku bisa memilih untuk menjadi seorang **DevSecOps Engineer** atau seorang **Security Engineer**. Jika aku memilih menjadi DevSecOps Engineer, aku akan fokus pada integrasi keamanan ke dalam pipeline CI/CD, mengelola container security (Docker, Kubernetes), serta menerapkan tools seperti SAST, DAST, dan SCA untuk menjaga keamanan software. Sementara itu, jika aku memilih menjadi Security Engineer, aku akan lebih banyak bekerja dengan network dan system hardening, endpoint protection, firewall, IDS/IPS, serta vulnerability management dan incident response.
Aku juga sadar bahwa pada tahap ini, banyak profesional melakukan **cross-skill**: sebagai DevSecOps Engineer, aku bisa belajar lebih banyak tentang network security, dan sebagai Security Engineer, aku bisa mendalami DevOps pipeline agar aku memiliki pemahaman yang lebih lengkap dan relevan dengan kebutuhan industri saat ini.
Setelah menguasai salah satu atau keduanya, aku akan siap melangkah ke posisi senior atau spesialis, misalnya sebagai Senior DevSecOps Engineer, Senior Security Engineer, Cloud Security Architect, Application Security Engineer, Cybersecurity Manager, atau bahkan CISO (Chief Information Security Officer).
Dengan mengikuti siklus ini, aku yakin akan mendapatkan pengalaman yang bertahap, terstruktur, dan relevan sehingga aku bisa membangun karier yang kokoh di dunia DevSecOps atau Security Engineering. 🚀
